We are very excited to announce that our new Resources page is now live on our website.
Our dedicated team members have been working very hard to develop this important resource and we are delighted with the result. We thank everyone involved for their input. It has been a labour of love and necessity.
We know that if you suspect you have Long Covid or you’re newly diagnosed, it can be hard to find trustworthy sources of information. We aim to provide a clear starting point to help people who may be feeling uncertain find answers, connection and a sense of understanding.
We hope you will find it invaluable and that it will assist you, your family or carers access the support you need in dealing with many of the daily challenges of Long Covid.
The links point to sources of information, advice and support. We have divided the extensive information into 9 easy to access sections:
Returning to and Finding Work
Benefits, Housing and Finances
Practical Support with Day to Day Living
Families, Young People and Education
Carers
Support Groups
Rehabilitation and Symptom Management
Medical Care
Covid Safety and Infection
This will be a living document, we will update it with new sources of help as time goes by.
I know first-hand how hard it can be to navigate support when unwell. I hope the new Resources can go some way towards connecting people with Long Covid to the help that's out there whilst we continue our fight for better understanding, research and treatment.
May, Long Covid SOS volunteer
